Annie Sloan Olive Chalk Paint
A definite deep green with a yellowish tinge
This really is a true, deep olive green.Green is actually the easiest colour on the human eye? It is all around us in nature. Greens create calm and centre us. Olive Green in has become one of the preferred colours for most interior designers.
Personally I prefer to add 8 parts of Old White to 1 part of Olive. This is more the colour of pale olive leaves.Try it and see what I mean.

Annie Sloan Greek Blue Chalk Paint
Annie Sloan Greek Blue Chalk Paint is a warm blue without any green in it. It is a colour found throughout the Mediterranean, often faded and distressed on shutters and woodwork. It has a chalky look about it yet it is a strong positive colour.
This is a colour that looks good with clear or dark wax.The picture above shows Greek Blue over Old White with clear wax. Why not try putting dark wax on directly on to the paint as we have on this case.The look is totally different. Do remember that if you apply dark wax straight on to the paint that is where it stays.
The top of the case has had dark wax applied directly on to the paint.The front of the case has had no wax applied.Quite a difference!
If you want to make a colour paler then you can add Old White or Pure.( Old White will help make the colour vintage and Pure will make the colour more modern)
Old white will achieve a soft pale slightly aged look whereas the addition of Pure White will create a cleaner,fresher circa 1950′s finish.

Annie Sloan Emperor’s Silk Chalk Paint
Annie Sloan Emporer’s Silk is a bright pure red similar to the red silk lining of a jacket. We love it and it is great to put in an interior of a cupboard or a drawer.Even better when it has dark wax added to it. It is named after the red of China.
It is also possible to add old white to this to create a wonderful rose-pink.
A wonderful colour to use as a base coat colour but even more impressive on its own.The picture above is a piece we did a while ago which had dark wax applied directly to it. (rules are breaking!!).
