Annie Sloan Versailles.
A soft delicate lightly yellowed dusky green that is sophisticated and gentle yet it works well with modern pieces too. Versailles is a colour which picks up other colours well and changes character accordingly. With Louis Blue, lightened Henrietta, Cream, Original and Old Whites it looks back to the French court of Versailles but with Provence, Duck Egg Blue and Coco it is a sassy modern colour.
A really subtle colour. Looks good with just clear wax or if you want more depth to the colour a touch of dark wax.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Scandinavian Pink

Annie Sloan Scandinavian Pink is such an underrated colour.Don’t let the mention of “pink” put you off trying this colour. One of the traditional colours found in much Swedish furniture which can be used it underneath many colours or try it using it in interiors of cupboards and drawers.
Looks good under Old Ochre, Old White and Paris Grey.

Annie Sloan Provence Chalk Paint.
Blue green shutters in the South of France are the inspiration for this colour. Set against walls of any of the whites. Provence needs light and bright fabrics with a Mediterranean and seaside feel. Other paint colours that work with Provence also need to have the same freshness and strength. Of course a cupboard painted Provence looks great against a wall of Old White.

Annie Sloan Promer Red
This is a colour which has recently found its way into my palette.It has been sitting on shelf winking at me for some time.It is a wonderful colour for layering and is totally cool just on its own.
Deep red ochre is a colour found in practically every culture from Venetian palaces to Vietnamese temples. Red earths were plentiful and relatively easy to come by so the colour is often associated with the colour for priming furniture and as the base coat for gilding. It is a wonderful colour on its own or as a base for other colours particularly when distressing.

A definite deep green with a yellowish tinge
This really is a true, deep olive green.Green is actually the easiest colour on the human eye? It is all around us in nature. Greens create calm and centre us. Olive Green in has become one of the preferred colours for most interior designers.
Personally I prefer to add 8 parts of Old White to 1 part of Olive. This is more the colour of pale olive leaves.Try it and see what I mean.

Annie Sloan Old White Chalk Paint is a real must have for all Chalk Painters. It is such a versatile paint colour which can be used on it’s own to a great effect or can be mixed with other colours to increase your palette.
Old White reproduces the colour of chalk and gesso, a cool soft white without pink or yellow in it. A colour which works with everything but for the quintessential French look use it over Paris Grey.

Annie Sloan Chalk Deux Sevres Paint Henrietta — Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Henrietta

Annie Sloan Henrietta Chalk Paint is a beautiful rich complex pink with a hint of lilac. It’s a sophisticated colour used in its own but with the addition of Old White it becomes an interesting colour without being too ‘cupcake’.

Henrietta painted on a French night stand with Country Grey on the mouldings and Provence in the interior. To give it depth a dark wax was used in a few places.

Of course you can you this colour with great effect using it under Old Ochre or Paris Grey.
